All domestic and international packages are shipped via the United States Postal Service.
The least expensive under 13oz can be sent 1st class however, most orders require Priority Flat Rate.
Depending on the order we will use the cheapest postage rate and refund if our check-out system charges more.
All fabrics are packaged in protective wrap/packaging/bags.We protect your fabrics from dirt, odors and weather to insure your satisfaction
In addition to flat rate mailers/boxes we now use poly bags for
lighter weight shipping meaning less cost for you.
Do I need shipping insurance?
Tymber Creek Fabrics is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
We e-mail shipping notices with confirmation tracking numbers.
Unfortunately not all International orders can be tracked.
If you would like to purchase insurance, please note that in comment section of your order.
The actual insurance charge will be added to the total cost of your order.
We have an excellent delivery success rate with USPS.
As an International customer will I have additional costs?
Any customs, duties, and VAT taxes are solely the responsibility of the buyer.
We enter the total for products purchased on the customs form.
How do you calculate shipping charges?
Shipping charges for fabrics are calculated by the yard.
Due to price changes, sales and other considerations we found this method the most fair and workable.
On ocassion it might be necessary to make an adjustment to the shipping charge, mainly when combining
"different" fabrics, such as regular 44/45"cotton with flannel or 60" fleece .
When combining weights, thickness, and bulk adjustments are necessary.
How can I get the best value for my shipping dollar?
When shopping, refer to the chart above.
The best way to get the most "bang for your buck" is to fill the Flat Rate mailers/boxes.
For example: Ordering 5 yards of fabric will often cost you the same as ordering 7 yards of fabric.
How is my fabric cut and packaged?
We add the "thumb" measurement to give you the full half or yard.
Panels, stripes or blocks are scissor cut and all others are rotary cut.
When will my order ship?
We work to ship all orders within 48 hours.
If we have a delay you will be notified via e-mail or phone call.
Incomplete or incorrect credit card information will delay shipment.
You may send payment in a check or money order, understanding this also delays shipping.
What payment methods do you accept?
We use Authorize.net as a merchant service company to process Visa, MasterCard, Discover.
When payment is through PayPal, click on the button for payment directly fom our site.
PayPal also will allow you to pay through e-check from a Checking Account.
